Welford Marina

Welford Marina is situated on the Leicester summit of the grand Union canal at the end of the Welford arm. The summit is accessed through a single lock adjacent to the Marina to give 20 miles of lock-free cruising.

The village of Welford has a grocery store, post office , hairdressers, garage and not forgetting the Wharf Inn pub.

Set in a village location directly behind the Wharf Inn pub.
Just 15 minutes from junction 20 on the M1 and 5 minutes from junction 1 on the A14.

This family owned Marina is set in a secure, peaceful location accommodating mainly linear pontoon moorings with water and electricity. A limited number of towpath moorings are also available.

Not commercialised in any way, just simply peace and quiet in a rural, natural environment.
