Streethay Wharf was first established over 20 years ago as a narrow boat yard, originally being an old coal wharf and prior to that was involved in drying hops for the brewery industry.

Having grown up with a keen interest in the inland waterways and boating, boats have always been a major part of Nick's upbringing including the technical side.

In 2003 Nick joined the workforce as the Saturday boy whilst studying at college. Nine years later in 2012, Nick bought the business and has turned it into what it is today.

The dedicated and loyal team at Streethay and Mercia possess a wealth of knowledge gained over the years and they are committed to passing this onto newcomers in the industry.
