Herons Rest Marina located in Llangattock on the exclusive Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal provides a perfect location to enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is described as a ‘gem among canals’ by the official canal guide and as ‘offering some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain’ (John Morris, acclaimed guide 2003).  Lying almost wholly within or along the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park,the canal hugs the mountainside above the valley of the River Usk for much of the 33 miles between its terminus at Brecon and its junction with the Monmouthshire Canal at Pontymoile.
