Alexander Boat Builders are a small company with a very good reputation throughout the industry for building high quality steel narrowboat shells.

Founded by Jim Sparkes who has been building boats for over 35 years. Jim has a great passion for boat building and has passed on his skills to his young workforce who are 'committed to quality'.

Jim is 'hands on' at all times and makes sure all boats are built to his required standards and would strongly recommend any prospective customer to pay a visit to our workshop to view the quality of work in progress and discuss their boat in further detail.
