Description
Fanny May is an excellent 40ft traditional stern narrowboat, built by Piper Boats in 2011. Powered by a reliable Beta Marine 38hp diesel engine coupled with a PRM 120 gearbox. The boat has benefited from a number of recent upgrades, including a new multi-fuel stove and a new Webasto heating unit fitted in 2023. In addition, the hull and base plates were grit-blasted and treated with a two-pack epoxy coating in 2023, providing excellent protection.
Despite her compact 41ft length, Fanny May offers a surprisingly spacious interior, with generous storage throughout and an impressive 6ft 5in headroom. Her manageable length also offers the added advantage of straightforward road transportation, with haulage available through a suitable company equipped with HIAB facilities.
Fanny May is now available to view at Swanley Bridge Marina, near Nantwich.
