Grand Union Narrowboats

Grand Union Narrowboats are based at Weedon in Northamptonshire, right on the Grand Union Canal and conveniently located in the heart of the Midlands. With a range of comfortable narrowboats sleeping from 2 to 10 people, they offer everything from short breaks to longer canal holidays. First-time boaters are very welcome, with full tuition and help with your first lock included, so you can set off feeling confident.

There’s a fantastic choice of routes from Weedon, including the Grand Union Canal, Oxford Canal, Ashby Canal and River Thames. For longer adventures you can head towards the Llangollen Canal, Warwickshire Ring, Shropshire Union Canal or Avon Ring, while shorter breaks can take in highlights such as Braunston, Stoke Bruerne and Blisworth Tunnel. With pretty villages, historic towns, waterside pubs and plenty of countryside to enjoy, there’s something for both first-timers and experienced boaters.
